Neumann's Workshop, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you play Eureka.
Information We Collect
We do NOT collect personal information.
The following data is stored locally in your browser only:
- Game progress and statistics
- Player names (chosen by you for multiplayer sessions)
- Game preferences and settings
During multiplayer sessions, temporary session IDs are used to maintain WebSocket connections. These are not stored permanently and expire when you close the game.
How We Use Your Information
We do not collect or use your personal information. All game data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers except temporarily during active multiplayer sessions for game state synchronization.
Third-Party Services
Eureka is deployed on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Durable Objects:
- Cloudflare - Provides hosting and WebSocket infrastructure
- These services may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, timestamps)

Cookies and Local Storage
Eureka uses browser local storage (not cookies) to save your game progress:
- No tracking cookies
- No advertising cookies
- No analytics cookies
- Local storage only for game state
Your Rights & Controls
You have full control over your data:
- View: All game data is visible in browser DevTools (Application → Local Storage)
- Export: You can manually export your game data
- Delete: Clear your browser cache to remove all game data
- Opt-out: Simply don't play - we don't track you anyway!
Children's Privacy
Eureka does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The Game does not require account creation or personal information. Parents should supervise children's browser usage.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
